TSG concludes its largest acquisition and consolidates its strategy of transformation towards technical services for energy transition with SKY-NRG, an Italian company specialised in solar solutions.

TSG, the European leader in technical services for responsible mobility solutions, is pleased to announce the acquisition of SKY-NRG, a company specialising in solar energy, based in Italy, with annual revenue of c. 60 million €. This acquisition constitutes to date the largest add-on concluded by the group.

In the past year, TSG’s overall revenues have exceeded 1,1 billion € and, for the first time, its activities in technical services for new energies for mobility reached a third of that amount. Launched in 2023 and reinforced by this acquisition, TSG’s revenues generated by solar energy solutions should reach around 100 million €.

This rapid growth is a testimony to TSG’s successful strategy of combining strategic add-on acquisitions in key geographical areas like Southern Europe with the capacity to develop in-house expertise, successfully fostering organic growth.

The significant development of TSG’s solar energy segment plays into the group’s key objective of offering integrated electrical solutions and continuously strengthening its multi-energy and multi-service offer.

SKY-NRG offers renewable energy solutions, specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems for B2B clients across various industries, including utilities, manufacturing, and solar plant developers. SKY-NRG handles every aspect of solar energy projects, from sourcing high-quality materials to engineering design, project planning, installation and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency for its clients. Between 2021 and 2023, SKY-NRG installed close to 720 solar plants and aims to deliver more than 500MW in solar energy to its clients by 2028.

With this acquisition, TSG pursues its strategic transformation to provide fully integrated electrical solutions to its clients. The group’s turnkey solar solutions, offer clients not just the installation and maintenance of solar panels, but also advanced electrical transformation equipment and tailored battery storage systems. Leveraging on SKY-NRG’s footprint, TSG will boost its capacity to meet the rapidly growing demand in Southern Europe for photovoltaic energy installations and thus continue delivering major solar projects like Triest Airport one recently won in Italy (3.3 MWp). By joining TSG Group’s network, SKY-NRG will be able to serve its customers internationally. Together TSG et SKY-NRG will offer a complete and combine range of integrated electrical solutions associating solar, EV charging, battery storage and transformers.

SKY-NRG is the 27th company to join TSG group over the past three years. The scale of this acquisition makes it an historic step for TSG’s objective to offer high-end multi-energy solutions supporting customers in their transition towards responsible mobility.

“Acquiring SKY-NRG and rapidly developing our solar energy activities aligns with TSG’s strategy to keep on offering fully integrated electrical solutions and to support customers all over Europe in their transition towards responsible mobility and energy. After electric mobility, solar energy is the fastest growing business segment in our group. Since we have started developing our solar energy segment over a year ago, we have already delivered 30MW to our clients through photovoltaic solutions and we plan to increase that output significantly in the future.” commented Jean-Marc Bianchi, CEO of TSG.

“We are thrilled about this new chapter for SKY-NRG which will accelerate the company’s development to the benefit of our customers, employees, and partners. Joining TSG Group makes us stronger and better positioned to meet the growing demands of the market.” declared Gianluca Paroni, CEO of SKY-NRG.
