Switchgear and containerised solutions
UCP Choice supplies and installs a wide range of both new and reconditioned switchgear, from LV to HV up to 33kV. Additionally, the company offers a comprehensive containerised solution including design, supply and installation of switchgear and transformers. Clients have the option to request an annual maintenance and testing contract, which is available 24/7 if required.
New connections
As an independent connection provider (ICP) UCP Choice has been assessed and accredited nationally by Lloyds register to carry out a vast array of infrastructure works, including but not limited to; civils, electrics, cabling, steel towers and substation installations.
Transformers
UCP Choice is able to supply and install a broad spectrum of both new and reconditioned transformers, including cast resin, fluid-filled and air-cooled from 100 kVA to 100 MVA. All transformers are installed by highly experienced electrical engineers and are available with a maintenance and site testing service if required.
EV Charging solutions
UCP Choice is authorised by the office for low emission vehicles (OLEV) to install charger points at residential properties, highways, commercial and industrial properties.
Solar development
UCP Choice can identify and assess the suitability of land for solar development, and once terms are agreed, UCP Choice will apply for grid connection and carry out the planning permission application, before construction can begin. The new solar farm will then be monitored by UCP Choice’s O&M department to ensure optimum performance.
